SaaS is not a new thing, certainly not in the IT space where we've been using software as a service for years. But there's a difference between IT SaaS and Telco SaaS. When an IT service goes down, it's simply off the grid. That's not acceptable in the telecom world because a telecom service is the grid. We need to build telco SaaS with a different level of reliability expectations in mind. At Nokia, we understand the reliability requirements of our CSP customers.
